Description

We are seeking a resourceful and highly organized Business Development Representative to support our Image Program team and drive growth within the healthcare apparel market under the guidance and leadership of our New Business Development Manager. This remote position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning the entire sales process—from prospecting to closing.

You'll be responsible for executing outbound prospecting strategies, generating and qualifying leads, maintaining CRM accuracy, preparing compelling sales materials, conducting research on prospective clients, and managing the sales cycle through proposal delivery and deal closure. Once the sale is complete, client relationships will transition to our Account Development Management team for ongoing support.

The role is centered on personal sales performance.


Requirements

Core Responsibilities

  • Leverage our Image Program solution to generate new healthcare customers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively generate new business through outbound sales activities, including securing appointments, presenting solutions, and developing tailored proposals.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through a combination of phone, email, and social selling efforts.
  • Attend regional industry events and trade shows to support lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Conduct both virtual and in-person meetings to engage stakeholders and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Manage the sales process from initial outreach to proposal submission, working closely with leadership, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Communicate our corporate capabilities and value proposition clearly and effectively to C-suite executives and other decision-makers.
  • Analyze customer needs to provide customized solutions and deliver compelling proposals, case studies, and ROI analyses.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and executing effective sales strategies.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in healthcare apparel or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with C-suite executives.
  • Self-driven with a strong ability to work independently while managing a robust sales pipeline.
  • Skilled in using CRM and lead management tools to track sales progress and customer interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • This is a remote role with regular regional travel (up to 25%) to meet prospective clients, attend industry events and build relationships at healthcare facilities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare apparel or B2B sales space is preferred.

Compensation

Base salary of $60k-$75k with commission potential, with an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of $81k - $103k. Kindthread encourages applications from candidates at all levels, where pay will be based on experience.
