Description
The Director of Field Sales (Wholesale) will lead and develop a high-performing sales team to drive growth and revenue in Kindthread’s wholesale business. This role will be responsible for building and executing sales strategies, driving team performance, and fostering strong relationships with key accounts. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic, solutions-oriented approach and a commitment to cross-functional collaboration to ensure the wholesale channel’s success within an omnichannel environment.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a national field sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with corporate objectives, focusing on driving wholesale growth.
- Leverage industry expertise and existing relationships to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Foster a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Ensure alignment between sales, operations, product, and marketing teams to optimize sales execution.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to the team, focusing on long-term sales growth and professional development.
- Track sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
- Represent Kindthread at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on corporate goals, values, and overall strategy.
- Travel with the team to engage with key customers and identify new business opportunities, fostering growth and strengthening relationships.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proven experience in wholesale sales leadership, with a strong understanding of the wholesale business model.
- Experience in healthcare or uniforms is a plus, but wholesale sales expertise is essential.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate a team and drive performance.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day sales activities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with internal teams and external clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven, analytical approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and experience in tracking sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align teams and drive cross-functional success.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in wholesale or a related industry.
- Proven track record of sales leadership and driving revenue growth.
Compensation
The base salary for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000, with additional commission opportunities based on sales performance.
